In full prep for Olympia

1st of April was the beginning of my prepfor Olympia. I am very motivated for this prep, gotta do it wise and avoid injuries (I have been preping for Arnold's since July 2010, had a 8 months special plan). This times I have a 6 months plan but unfortunately did not get the rest my body needed to recover, I just had 3 weeks of break in between. I do believe in wise bb in that one cannot just push his/her limits on and on. One has to train with phases and give the body and brain the right input to progress and grow but also the right rest and recovery time they need. That is why I am not too keen on competing too often. Ideally I would do 1 show a year, this year is a special one though so I have to do what I have to do and go ahead with trying to reach a great shape without compromises and injuries .
I cannot go too heavy before my hardcore diet starts which will be in June so I have to calculate my micronutrients and fit my food in a prescheduled frame.

I got my curves and the natural roundness of my face back:))

I am having my lovely friend Annie Rivieccio visiting me and we are having a great time. I simply love her:) We will be together at the Fibo event this weekend in Germany.

I baked an apple pie for her and she loved it:)

As a reward I got a great photo shoot:) To sample it:

Hope to meet lots of my European fans at Fibo. I will be doing lots of photo and video shoots there for my site and my clips4sale account so stay tuned. I will also have some surprises for my fans, will work with some of the popular European fbbs while there.

Kisses

what a great achievement!!!

I want to thank everybody for your support and congratulations. I am amazed and overwhelmed by the amount of good feedback I got from fans, friends, people that rooted me on and gave me their feedback.

I am extremely happy to have made such a good placement at Ms. International and to have had such a good impact on people more or less involved in the sport. Time to rest for a while and start all over again with my prep for Olympia with a better motivation than ever. It has been a tough preparation and I literally destroyed my legs - but thanks God no injuries- to reach that shape and I will do my best to raise to the expectations for Olympia again.

Sorry if I did not manage to answer individually to everyone who wrote me, my messages and emails are piling up but I will get down to the bottom of them soon. Just to let you know, I am grateful for each and every email or comment I got.

I attach a sample of the work I did with C. Zimmerman the day right after the show, I just love it, I think this pic is insane and Chris is absolutely great.

2 weeks out

I am almost there... I cannot describe how excited I am to be on the Arnold's stage again.
My shape seems to be better than last year, at least in my eyes. LOL. Of course, the final product is the most important as, in the end, hours can change so much.

I am flying to the States in the end of this week and I can hardly wait to move on, 99% of the work has been done and now is the time of the show:)

I kept you updated with a few front photos a few weeks ago, I almost felt obliged to show you a back shot as well:)

Thanks again to all my good friends and fans for their support and all the good feedback and motivating words I received. A few of you really made me push 'those' buttons:)

3 1/2 weeks out.... I am almost there... or so I motivate myself to go on ... :)

My body changes very fast now, on the last 100 m. Some days I get really a great pump in the workout, which is amazing considering I am not on too many carbs these days. Yesterday was such a day, during the shoulders workout I took some snapshots, decided they look decent enough to share them with you:)
Everything's ready, my bikini, the skin dye, my routine, set up the last appointments for nails and hair. Can hardly wait to be there..... I am so excited except for the part of the the day when I am too tired to feel anything.... lol....
Stay tuned, more will come:)

sad news

Sad to hear that NY Pro has been cancelled for FBB. Sorry for those girls who started the prep already for one of the most prestigious pro shows for female bodybuilders and not only, just to find out it has been pulled out. I wonder if this is a sign of the beginning of the end ..... as they have been storming on the forums ever since the announcement of the new division Physique.

I was even considering to do it myself in an attempt to qualify for Olympia. I really want to stay on that stage this year. But I decided not to do the FIBO, which is 5 weeks apart from Ms. International. I just don't have enough resources right now to go on 5 or 6 more weeks after that. I am pretty much at the limit, as it always happens as we approach a show.

Got some snapshots today as I arrived home after my leg workout. I am still pretty heavy at 78 kg, approximately 172 lbs but the quality is good and got 4 more weeks to chisel everything I have.

Thanks everybody for the nice emails I receive and your rooting for me.
I am waiting for next Monday, when it starts the 3 weeks out.... lol .... that's the way I countdown.... :)

5 1/2 more weeks

My prep is going on fine, after all I am getting tired and feel horrible which means I should look good.LOL. It is time to take advantage of the new contest shape prep and make more material for my members and for the new clips4sale account that will soon be launched.
I played a bit with the camera today and play is the right word, for I did not pose big time and thought I would give you a preview of what the next update outfit will be like.
I also changed my hair color a bit made it lighter and will work some more on it. Since I mentioned my hair, my hairdresser is a world champion himself his name is Enzo di Giorgio and we were both World Champions in the same year, 2008, it is just different domains:)

I am very motivated, been like this all along and I can hardly wait to be on Ms. I stage again and pose next to these wonderful athletes.
Thanks for your support and for following me:)
Hugs
Alina

My Christmas gift.....

.... is the invitation I received to compete at Ms. International. I am so excited. I was really nervous as I am in preparation for this show since the beginning of July. Now there are 9 more weeks and with the great news of being accepted, I got the right motivation to be tougher with myself and train hard to achieve a tighter shape than last year.

I will keep you posted with the evolution of my shape:)

Merry Christmas, everybody.
